COVID-19 Clermont Co. Travel and Tourism Resources and Information:
With recommendations from the Clermont County Health Department, should a hotel guest experience COVID-19 like symptoms including coughing, high fever and shortness of breath, please help guide them through the following steps:
- If a guest is ill, they should be encouraged to manage their symptoms and remain in their hotel room.
- If the guest needs medical attention they should be directed to a local urgent care. If they believe they have COVID-19, they should contact the urgent care prior to leaving the hotel, to find out the registration procedure to minimize the exposure to others. See below for urgent care facilities information.
- There is no guarantee that the guest will be tested for COVID- 19. The decision to test will be based on the individual meeting certain criteria, having no other definitive diagnosis, and the direction of the medical professional.
- The hotel staff should continue to monitor the CDC and ODH website for additional information and guidance on cleaning/disinfectant precautions. See below for guidance on disinfectant precautions.
Now more than ever, it is important to support local businesses including local dining, outdoor recreation, shopping and more. We want to help keep Clermont County a warm and thriving destination. These options help provide a lot of the local flavors, sites and sounds you’ll only find here in Clermont County.
